On your mark. Get set. Donate on May 6. Next Tuesday is a big event, 24-hour event where we can come together as a community for an important cause– the Big Day of Giving.
What is the BIG Day of Giving? It is an amazing opportunity to raise unrestricted dollars from the greater community to support the work of our local nonprofits. It is also an opportunity to have those donations boosted by a pool of matching dollars!
This year’s goals will be to:
- Raise $1 Million in unrestricted gifts to local nonprofits
- Reach 5,000 donors, 30% of which will be new to the organizations involved
- Enlist 400 nonprofits to participate by creating a portrait on the GivingEdge – the region’s first nonprofit database
- Secure at least $250K in Matching and Prize Funds
