The Sacramento Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies, will honor our fallen heroes during several Law Enforcement Memorial events taking place between Thursday, April 30 to Monday, May 4, 2015.
The Sacramento Police Sheriff’s Memorial Foundation held its 13th Annual Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., at the memorial site, located at 500 Arden Way.
On Sunday, May 3, 2015, the Annual Candlelight Vigil for the 39th Annual California State Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held at the monument site, located at 10th Street and Capitol Mall. This event will be held from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
On Monday, May 4, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., the 39th Annual California State Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will take place at the monument site, located at 10th Street and Capitol Mall. The California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony honors those California Peace Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving our communities.
All three of these memorial events are open to the public.
