The SacPark Reservation System is live as of Thursday, September 1! Sacramento residents and visitors attending events at the Golden 1 Center, and venues throughout the Central City, will now have the ability to reserve a spot ahead of time at any of the City’s garages or at a Certified Partner parking facility.
Reservations will first be available for customers attending events after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day weekends.
Reservation System 101:
- Reservations may be printed out or saved to a smart phone, which will be scanned at the facility entrance.
- Reservations for City-owned garages will be discounted by 25 percent off of the garage pre-pay flat rate.
- If you want to reserve on non-event days, then you just pay the regular garage hourly rate for the amount of time you plan to park. The beauty of this is that you can reserve your parking for anything after Sept. 1.
- Pricing at facilities will vary at partner garages and lots.
A new SacPark app launching late September will allow event goers to reserve their spot in both City and private garages and lots ahead of time, while also providing directions on how to get there.
The app will be available to download at the Apple and Android app stores, and Google play later this month. The new parking app will also be integrated into an online navigation tool that will highlight information on various transportation options when traveling to downtown and Golden 1 Center.
