The Department of Parks and Recreation offers an array of diverse programs, services and facilities to the residents of our City and the broader Sacramento community. The City is looking for resident feedback on park improvements that could benefit a park in their community. Staff is currently in the process of developing the 2016 Park Project Programming Guide (PPPG).
If you have any new project ideas, please feel free to fill out this survey by December 31, 2016.
The City will also be hosting three informational sessions on the following dates:
North area: Thursday, Oct. 13 from 6 – 7 p.m. at South Natomas Community Center. (2921 Truxel Rd, Sacramento, CA 95833)
Central area: Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6 – 7 p.m. at the Historic Council Chambers in City Hall. (915 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814)
South area: Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 6 – 7 p.m. at Pannell Meadowview Community Center. (2450 Meadowview Rd, Sacramento, CA 95832)
The PPPG is a prioritized list of unfunded new park and recreation capital projects throughout the City. The PPPG process allows staff to identify and prioritize needs, align funding with those needs to create realistic expectations, and deliver projects within a reasonable timeframe.
