Heavy winds from storms causing issues Citywide

UPDATED – Thursday, Jan. 19, 3 p.m.

Strong winds, between 30 to 50 MPH, are expected again late this evening, and may cause more downed trees and power outages. The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a wind advisory, which is in effect from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 20.

As of Thursday morning, the City has received 350 storm-related calls and is currently processing as many of those calls as possible.  With the possible continuing weather, we’re asking residents to please be patient as work orders are cleared and issues taken care of.

Due to the high amount of incoming calls, it may take several days to complete all tasks. The City appreciates your patience and will resolve your issue as soon as possible.
