Come celebrate William Land Park’s 100th Anniversary!

William Land Park is celebrating its 100th Anniversary on Friday, August 3. We’ve planned an entire night packed with fun activities, live music, a sunset movie, and even birthday cake and ice cream.

All you need to bring is yourself! Festivities begin at 5 p.m. at the William Carroll Amphitheater.

The celebration will feature:

  • Fairytale Town Pop-Up Adventure Playground
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Front Street Animal Shelter Donation Drive
  • Front Street Adopt-A-Pet Program
  • Classic Car Show
  • Live pre-movie performance by the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera Brass Quintet
  • Birthday cake and ice cream
  • Movie in the Park, “Coco”, starting at sunset

Various discounts will also be available on the day of the celebration. All visitors on Friday, August 3 will receive $1 off Fairytale Town and a discounted $9.95 rate for the Sacramento Zoo.

During the Front Street Animal Shelter Donation Drive, LPCA and Front Street Animal Shelter will be accepting new and used blankets, flat sheets, towels, pet beds, and unopened food and treats.

William Land Park will also host a 2-Person Scramble Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 4 at the William Land Golf Course. The event will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start and will cover 9-holes, with an 11 a.m. luncheon and awards to follow. Registration is $60 per 2-player team.
