Help us decide the future of the City’s Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment Department

How should we identify priorities? Improve operations? Enhance parks and recreation opportunities?

The Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment (YPCE) – formally Parks and Recreation –  is soliciting feedback from residents on their newly developed strategic plan, which will serve as a roadmap for the department for the coming years.

“The strategic plan helps us assess resources as we strive to meet the needs of the entire city,” said Shannon Brown, Interim YPCE Director. “This survey represents the first step in our efforts to involve our community in establishing parks and recreation priorities for all of Sacramento.”

Meanwhile, the department has developed a slogan for its strategic plan that describes a new approach for doing business: Diverse, Dynamic, Together.

Please take a moment to respond to the survey.

All responses must be received before midnight, Sept. 30. Participation will be confidential. For more information and to see a copy of the strategic plan, visit the City’s website.
