The City’s Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment Department is recruiting lifeguards for its Aquatics Division.
As a lifeguard, individuals will have an opportunity to learn lifesaving skills, teach children how to swim, and engage with the local community.
“The City is dedicated to supporting its youth,” said Jackie Beecham Recreation Superintendent. “This program reflects the City’s goals of helping the local youth succeed through workforce development and basic life-skills training.”
Individuals at least 16 years of age, currently certified, or meet the lifeguard course prerequisites are encouraged to apply.
For those that need training, the City will reimburse $150 of the training cost. Reimbursement is upon completion of a successful season of employment with the City.
