The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival in Old Sacramento will take place Saturday, March 18.

The event will involve the closure of several downtown streets. Residents and visitors interested in attending are encouraged to plan ahead, take alternative transportation and watch for street closures.

Streets closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

• 2^nd Street between I Street & Capitol Mall
• J Street between Front Street & 2^nd Street
• Front Street between O Street & J Street
• 3^rd Street between I Street & J Street (northbound)

Streets closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

• K Street between Front Street & 2^nd Street
• L Street between Front Street & 2^nd Street
