The Sacramento Police Department is hosting a recruiting open house on Thursday, May 16, at the Sacramento Public Safety Center (5770 Freeport Blvd). Attendees will learn more about SacPD and the diverse range of services they provide.
Different units will be on site to provide individuals with insights into the various roles within the department. These units include:
- Community Service Officer
- CSI/Forensics
- Records Specialists
- Backgrounds
- Mounted Unit (two horses will be in attendance)
- Drone/Patrol
- Recruiting
“This is a great opportunity for those interested working for SacPD to come ask questions and learn about the different opportunities,” said Lieutenant Sabrina Briggs. “We encourage all to swing by to check us out.”
SacPD officers will be available to answer questions, provide demonstrations, and offer information about its operations and initiatives at the open house.
