Check out the four grant opportunities the City has for local businesses and entrepreneurs

The City of Sacramento Office of Innovation and Economic Development currently has four new grant programs aimed at enhancing North Sacramento businesses and bolstering the entrepreneurial community.

These initiatives seek to support businesses, non-profits, and commercial properties in the area, as well as incubator and accelerator programs across the city that provide essential resources to spur innovation and inclusive economic growth.

“The City of Sacramento is committed to fostering a vibrant and thriving business community,” said the City’s Senior Project Manager Mikel Davila. “These grant opportunities are designed to provide critical support to our entrepreneurs and small businesses, ensuring they have the resources and infrastructure needed to succeed. By investing in these programs, we are not only stimulating economic growth but also enhancing the quality of life for all Sacramento residents.”

Forward Together Grant – $700,000 total

Innovation Incubator and Accelerator Grants – $500,000 total

Northgate Boulevard Storefront Improvement Grant – $200,000 total

North Sacramento Façade Improvement Grant – $500,000 total
