Dive into spring fun at this water egg hunt April 19

The City of Sacramento is inviting families to make a splash this spring with a festive, poolside celebrations at the North Natomas Aquatics Complex. Hosted by the Department of Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment, the event combines in-water and traditional egg hunts with swimming and other activities.

The North Natomas Egg-A-Palooza will take place on Saturday, April 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 2601 New Market Drive. This family-friendly event features heated pool access, whimsical spring decorations, bunny-themed fun, and photo opportunities to capture memories of the day.

Admission is $9 for adults and $7 for youth ages 2 to 17, with children 2 and under admitted free. All ages are welcome, and standard pool safety rules will apply, including adult supervision for children under 12 and City-issued life jackets.

“We’re excited to welcome families back to the North Natomas Aquatics Complex for another spring celebration,” said Sjon Swanson, YPCE recreation manager. “Our aquatics events are focused on bringing people together in a safe, fun space where everyone feels welcome.”

Photographers will be onsite to capture candid moments, and attendees are encouraged to follow @ypce_cityofsac on Instagram for event highlights. Snacks and face painting will be provided by Councilmember Lisa Kaplan’s office.
