Traffic alert: Lane closures planned for Franklin Boulevard Complete Street Project

Starting Monday, July 28, construction crews will begin demolishing sidewalks and driveways along the west side of Franklin Boulevard, adjacent to the southbound lane between Sutterville Road and 32nd Avenue.

To provide a safe working area for crews, Franklin Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

Residents and businesses will always have access to their properties. The community should follow posted detours and plan for delays when traveling through the construction area.

What to expect during construction:

This work is part of the Franklin Boulevard Complete Street Project, a major safety and mobility upgrade that will transform the corridor into a more welcoming gateway to the district, local businesses and surrounding neighborhoods.

The project is:
