BASSMASTER ELITE SERIES FISHING TOURNAMENT
The world’s greatest bass fishermen will test their skills on the Sacramento River, April 30 – May 3. Volunteer and enjoy a day down by the river. Family friendly, great barbecue and the music of Craig Wayne Boyd, winner of Season 7 of The Voice. Assignments include, gate monitors, floaters, beer garden, and many more. Big crowds expected for this one!

AMGEN 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR OF CALIFORNIA BIKE RACE RETURNS ON MAY 10TH
With this being the 10th Anniversary of America’s Greatest Race there will be a lot excitement in the city. Along with the race on Sunday May 10th, the Sacramento Sports Commission and the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau will be hosting the Amgen Celebration Event, including the Introduction of the Amgen Riders, Friday May 8th on the West Steps of the Capitol.

SACRAMENTO’S LARGEST OFFICE PARTY
The Sacramento Sports Commission is hosting the inaugural Sacramento Corporate Run 3.1 on Thursday May 21st at 6:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to get outside and compete with your co-workers and other corporations in our area. It’s an opportunity to walk or run with your CEO, the neighbor company, a client, or use it as a networking opportunity.
There will be 8 categories to compete in and a T-shirt design contest. After you are done running or walking the fun continues at the Corporate Village Afterparty. Each company can choose to rent their own tent and have food & drinks waiting for them when they are done with the 5k. It is essentially a huge office party! You’ll meet your tent neighbor companies, you can invite your clients and families to join you. It’s also a great place to celebrate your race achievements!
