Here are the road closures for the Kaiser Permanente Women’s Fitness Festival on June 2

Thousands of runners and walkers are expected to participate in the Kaiser Permanente Women’s Fitness Festival on Sunday, June 2.

The 5K and 10K event will close various streets throughout downtown and midtown Sacramento on Sunday morning.

Residents and motorists are advised to review the closures and race map below and add extra time if they plan on driving in or out of the area during the morning hours. Both races begin and end at the State Capitol.

Street closures

  • Capitol Mall from 8th to 9th streets (full closure from 5 a.m. to noon)
  • 9th Street from L to N streets (full closure from 5 a.m. to noon)
  • 10th Street from L to N streets (full closure from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
  • N Street from 9th to 15th streets (full closure from 7:15-7:50 a.m.; one lane open from 7:50-8:40 a.m.)
  • 15th Street from L to N streets (full closure from 7:15-9:30 a.m.)
  • Capitol Avenue from 15th to 16th streets (full closure from 7:15-8:45 a.m.)
  • 16th Street from Capitol Avenue to Q Street (west side from 7:15-8:40 a.m.)
  • P Street from 15th to 16th streets: (south side from 7:15-9 a.m.)
  • 15th Street from P to Q streets: (east side from 7:15-9 a.m.)
  • Q Street from 15th to 19th streets (full closure from 7:20-9 a.m.)
  • 19th Street from P to L streets (full closure from 7:20-9:15 a.m.)
  • P Street from 17th to 19th streets (full closure from 7:30-9 a.m.)
  • 17th Street from P to O streets (east side from 7:30-9 a.m.)
  • O Street from 17th to 19th streets (full closure from 7:30-9 a.m.)
  • 17th Street from N Street to Capitol Avenue (east side from 7:30-9 a.m.)
  • N Street from 17th to 19th streets (full closure from 7:30-9:10 a.m.)
  • Capitol Avenue from 17th to 19th streets (south side from 7:30-9:15 a.m.)
  • L Street from 9th to 19th streets (full closure from 7-10 a.m.)
