The Sacramento Police Department (SPD) is looking for new team members and is hosting a Hiring Workshop and Open House from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at 2409 Dean St, McClellan, CA. This event is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to learn more about careers in law enforcement.
“We want to give people a real look at what it means to serve in law enforcement,” said Sergeant Dan Wiseman. “This open house is a chance to meet our team, ask questions, and even try out parts of the hiring process. If you’ve ever considered a career in policing, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more and see if it’s the right fit for you.”
SPD has several positions available, including sworn, non-sworn and professional staff positions including dispatchers. The department wants to connect with people who are interested in making a difference in the community.
At the event, attendees can meet officers, ask questions, and even try out the physical agility test, a key part of the hiring process. Officers and recruiters will be available to provide guidance and feedback.
This event is free and no registration is needed.
SPD has several other recruiting events this month. These are great chances to meet the team and learn about job opportunities.
