Sacramento entrepreneurs to showcase their work at EveryDay Creative Pitch Night

After 12 weeks of intensive business development in the CLTRE “EveryDay Creative” Accelerator program, Sacramento-based creative entrepreneurs will take the stage Friday, June 27 to present their ventures to the community.

The EveryDay Creative Pitch Night will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, at the UC Davis Aggie Square campus (4480 2nd Avenue). It will include presentations from 18 creative business owners, followed by a networking reception.

The event is free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to register in advance on Eventbrite.

Th program is managed by CLTRE in partnership with Creative Startups and funded by the City of Sacramento’s Office of Arts and Culture through federal American Rescue Plan dollars. It aims to support a diverse range of entrepreneurs, with a focus on those from historically underserved communities, including people of color, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and residents of low-to-moderate-income neighborhoods.

“EveryDay Creative is more than just a program—it’s a community-driven initiative designed to equip creative entrepreneurs with the mentorship, resources, and funding they need to thrive in the creative economy,” said Roshaun Davis, Executive Director of CLTRE. “By investing in their growth, we’re helping turn passion into sustainable businesses that contribute to Sacramento’s cultural and economic landscape. Our goal is to create lasting opportunities for creatives to build, scale, and succeed.”

The current cohort kicked off the accelerator program in April. Over the course of the 12-week program, participants received hands-on support in building their businesses, including tailored training, expert mentorship, and connections to investors and industry professionals. The program also helped entrepreneurs refine their ideas and identify pathways for growth.

Those who complete the program are eligible to receive non-dilutive impact investments ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 to help grow their ventures.
