Sacramento residents are invited to share their perspectives on life in the city through the City’s community survey.
The survey, conducted by the City Auditor’s office, asks residents to share feedback on a range of topics related to quality of life and City services. Responses help the City understand resident priorities and identify areas for improvement.
The survey will remain open through Feb. 13.
“Resident input is essential to understanding how people experience life in Sacramento,” City Auditor Farishta Ahrary said. “The more people who participate, the better the data, and the community survey gives residents a meaningful way to share their perspectives and help guide the City’s work.”
Previously conducted on an annual basis, the community survey is now administered biennially, allowing more time to analyze results and use the data to inform City planning and decision-making.
The National Community Survey was developed by the National Research Center and is hosted by Polco. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous.
Residents aged 18 and older are asked to provide an email address and ZIP code to verify Sacramento residency and help ensure feedback reflects neighborhoods across the city. Personal information is securely stored through Polco and not shared.
As part of the survey process, randomly selected households received mailed survey invitations. Residents who were not selected can still participate through the open online survey, and all are encouraged to share their feedback.
Results from the survey will be analyzed by the Office of the City Auditor and shared publicly.
