Sacramento artists and cultural workers facing financial hardship can apply for a limited number of scholarships to attend the 2026 CA Arts & Culture Summit.
The summit brings together artists, cultural leaders and creative professionals from across California for networking, professional development and policy discussions.
With support from the City’s Office of Arts and Culture, the scholarships are available exclusively to residents who live within city limits and cover the cost of one registration. Employees of the City of Sacramento are not eligible.
“Expanding access to statewide arts convenings ensures Sacramento’s creative community is represented in key policy conversations,” said Jason Jong, cultural and creative economy manager. “These scholarships help reduce financial barriers so local artists and cultural workers can participate.”
CA for the Arts will host the Fourth Annual CA Arts & Culture Summit on Monday, April 20, at the Memorial Auditorium and the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center as part of Arts, Culture and Creativity Month.
The 2026 theme, “Boundless Culture & Creativity: The Essence of Freedom,” with a subtheme of “Building Joy, Action + Power,” will guide programming focused on civic engagement, advocacy and coalition building.
In addition to the scholarship opportunity for Sacramento residents, a reduced price Artist Ticket is available to artists, creative workers and students statewide at $190, compared to the $375 general admission rate, to support those with financial need.
Applications will be accepted until funds are fully dispersed or through Friday, March 20, whichever comes first.
Funding for the scholarships is provided through Measure U Arts Stabilization funds.
More information about eligibility and how to apply is available on the CA Arts & Culture Summit website.
