Code teams up with Burbank High students for a day on the job

The Code Compliance division partnered with the Luther Burbank High School criminal justice program to provide mentorship opportunities to three students. As part of the effort, these students rode along with the officers and learned about City ordinances, case management and methods of ensuring compliance from customers.

After their day was over, the students received certificates of achievement recognizing their completion of the City’s program. Jesus Baltazar, Lesley Vargas, and Christopher Rincon were the three students who took part in the program.

A big thank you to Jose Perez, Ricardo Vargas and Noel Eusebio for investing their time and energy. Also thanks to Brian Strong, Randy Cry, Shawn Bartosh, Ben Rolison and Amber Bartosh for all their work with the students.
