Fire station open houses begin this Saturday

This Saturday kicks off Sacramento Fire’s open house series. At the open houses, the public is invited to come out and talk with members of their fire department, tour the station, and get valuable life safety and fire prevention tips. The open houses are free to the public and will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on select Saturdays.

These open houses provide a way for residents to get a quick reminder about fire safety. Plus it is rare for the public to get the opportunity to interact with firefighters in non-emergency situations.

Attend a station open house near you! Check out the schedule to see which one is most convenient for you to attend.
