A tentative settlement agreement was reached between the State of California and the City to allow the redevelopment of the 700 block of K Street to move forward.
The mixed use development will bring 137 new housing units and over 60,000 of retail to the historic buildings.
This milestone comes on the heels of the recent approval of the new entertainment and sports center.
The City expects to break ground on the project by the end of the year and be completed within two years.
