City of Sacramento Volunteer Coordinator, Mary Lynn Perry has been named as a member of the Corporate Institute’s Leadership Faculty at Points of Light.
Points of Light is the largest organization in the world dedicated to volunteer service. They provide resources and consulting to hundreds of companies around the world looking to create innovative and efficient employee volunteer programs designed to help solve problems in the communities they serve. The Leadership Faculty acts as the go-to for companies looking to build and expand effective volunteer programs.
“I look forward to working with my colleagues across the country to encourage corporate volunteerism, and to learning more about the wonderful programs and activities in place nationally which could be a good fit for Sacramento,” states Mary Lynn Perry.
Mary Lynn Perry has an extensive background managing volunteers and student interns. For the past 11 years she has served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the City of Sacramento, California.
The City of Sacramento’s volunteer program provides opportunities for youth, adults, seniors and groups to contribute to the community.
