Executive Lieutenant for the City’s east command Glen Faulkner is this year’s recipient of the Power Inn Alliance’s Top Cop award.
For the past seven years, the Power Inn Alliance has selected a police officer who exhibits outstanding service in the community, as well as embodies a model police officer.
According to the Alliance, Faulkner, a 25-year City employee has demonstrated a talent to communicate with community members and encourages crime prevention education. He is a proactive crime abatement advocate, dedicated to working with other officers and agencies to establish safer communities.
“Lt. Faulkner has been terrific to work with. He doesn’t say ‘I don’t know’… his response is ‘Let me find out and get back to you.’ And when he says he will get back to me, he does,” said Dawn Carlson of the Alliance.
Faulkner provides police updates and crime trends at the Alliance’s crime prevention meetings, where ongoing efforts continue to improve the safety of the business district.
The Power Inn Alliance was created in 2006 to Advocate for Business, Transportation and Community.
