Share your water-saving actions to earn River Cats tickets* and be entered to win a wheel barrow full of water-wise goodies for your yard, compliments of the Regional Water Authority (RWA) and local water providers.
“We want to recognize people who are taking action, whether large or small, to conserve water during this severe drought–to recognize the region’s Drought Champs,” said Amy Talbot, RWA’s Water Efficiency Program Manager.
We understand that residents are making real changes to their daily lives in the name of water conservation…
They’re letting their lawns turn golden, taking shorter showers and reusing bath water on plants, to name a few things,” Talbot said. “We want to share those stories and thank people for their actions.”
People can share their stories and earn River Cats tickets* by entering RWA’s Drought Champs Facebook sweepstakes at http://woobox.com/x4jn2a. The first 100 people to enter will receive a pair of River Cats ticket vouchers.*
They can also join all of the other Drought Champs in the Sacramento region by sharing their story and photos at #DroughtChamp
