The 40th Annual Historic Home Tour is right around the corner!

Don’t miss your chance to see the amazing architecturally diverse Richard Grove neighborhood for the very first time! The 40th Annual Historic Home Tour is right around the corner, on Sunday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This tour is sponsored by Preservation Sacramento, a city-wide nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Sacramento’s historic scenes and supporting quality urban design. You’ll be surrounded by unique architectural styles of Craftsman, Art Deco, and Queen Anne. The tour gives you a beautiful view of a vivacious R Street corridor filled with art, food, and entertainment.  This home tour will be surrounded by a free street fair which will include contractors and artisans who specialize in the rehab and remodeling of historic homes, artists displaying their craft, and festivities such as local music performances.

The tour will begin on the corner of 14th and R streets, where volunteers will distribute brochures and wristbands that are needed for entry. You can buy tickets in advance here for $25, or on the day of the event for $30.
