Adoptable Front Street animals featured in SacBallet’s production of The Nutcracker

For the second year in a row, the City of Sacramento Front Street Animal Shelter is collaborating with the Sacramento Ballet in its production of a holiday favorite, The Nutcracker.

Adoptable animals will star in the Prologue of every performance, the goal being to raise community awareness about the shelter in general, as well as getting specific animals adopted at the event. After the performance, attendees can meet adoptable pets, and hopefully, find their newest family member. Front Street’s goal is to find homes for 100 animals through this partnership. Renamed the Nutcracker Mutt, it is Sacramento’s newest holiday tradition!

This show runs from Dec. 12 – Dec. 22, 2015 at the Community Center Theater. Purchase your tickets today!

Front Street’s participation in the show is made possible by generous support from The California Endowment.
