L Street between 15th and 16th Streets in front of Firestone Public House and de Vere’s Irish Pub will be shut down tomorrow, April 14 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the MLS Block Party as we welcome MLS Commissioner Don Garber to Sacramento.
Join Sacramento Republic FC and Mayor Johnson and showcase your finest Republic FC gear at the MLS Block Party tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entrance to the MLS Block Party will be at 15th and L Street and Firestone Public House, 1132 16th Street, Sacramento.
During the event, Garber will be answering fan questions submitted online via the hashtag #BuiltForMLS. The Q&A with Garber will not only provide an opportunity for fans to have their questions answered directly by the commissioner, but also provide Republic FC fans an opportunity to showcase their support.
The MLS Block Party will also include appearances from Republic FC players, food trucks, local beer, games, music, and other activities. Fans are encouraged to share why Sacramento is #BuiltforMLS through social media by using the hashtag and tweeting at @TheSoccerDon.
