The Sacramento Metro Chamber’s Leadership Sacramento class of 2016 celebrated their graduation at Mulvaney’s B&L Friday, December 9. Leadership Sacramento is a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber that develops community-minded business and civic leaders of tomorrow. The program consists of viewing the issues that impact the region’s economy through monthly day-long sessions and completion of a community betterment project.
This year, Leadership Sacramento 2016 dedicated their class project to fundraising for renovation of the Wellspring Women’s Center kitchen. The Wellspring Women’s Center provides food, counselling, classes and resources to women and children regardless of their background or situation. Leadership Sacramento 2016 raised a total of $100,000 for upgrades and improvements to the Wellspring kitchen.
