Getting to and from Golden 1 Center during March Madness

In preparation for the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Championship tournament hosted at the Golden 1 Center in Downtown Sacramento, specific parking and transportation accommodations have been made for both out of town guests and Sacramento locals.

To help everyone plan ahead, the City created an online platform, www.GetHereSac.com, which offers event attendees a one-stop shop of resources to create a custom travel plan when getting to and from the Golden 1 Center. For more information, visit www.SacSports.com.

  • Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) will host a Free Ride Day for those with NCAA Tournament tickets on Friday, March 17. Riders are encouraged to utilize any of SacRT’s 21 park-and-ride stations across the Sacramento region to travel to downtown Sacramento.

Please note that the free ride day only applies to trains, not SacRT buses. Also note, the free ride ONLY applies to those with NCAA tournament tickets
