BizX 2017 speaker lineup and venue announced!

Calling all creatives, entrepreneurs, and small business owners: be a part of BizX 2017

It’s an exciting time to be in Sacramento’s thriving business climate — especially for those in the growing business of innovation, inspiration, and design. This interactive event will provide opportunities to learn from a motivational line-up of fascinating thinkers and doers.

BizX will gather more than 150 entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners on May 2, 2017 for an afternoon focused on inspirational storytelling designed to energize, motivate and give you the tips needed to create a thriving business.

What’s new this year?

To channel the creative energy, this year’s event will be held at the Crocker Art Museum in the Setzer Foundation Auditorium. Featured speakers include:

Bri James – Founder of Scrumpt

Bri James founded the subscription service that supplies busy parents with all of the instructions and ingredients needed to provide a healthy food option for their little ones.

Mark Haney – Serial investorpreneur who has built several multi-million dollar companies

In 2015 Mark became a media personality with the launch of Entrepreneurs Unlimited, a weekly radio interview show focused on entrepreneurial education and inspiration.

Jay Sales, Christine Folck, & George Claire – VSP, The Shop

Predicated on design thinking, lean methodologies, and disruption theory, The Shop is breaking down boundaries between the digital and physical worlds where design, fashion and healthcare collide.


After Party!

Attendees are invited to stay for the after party from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Crocker Art Museum. Attendees will have an opportunity for a limited tour of the gallery, and to connect with the speakers, local businesses, and entrepreneurs.
