Neighborhood Services to host annual youth job fair, April 1

Job fair is part of overall initiative focusing on placing Sacramento youth in internships and employment opportunities citywide.

The City of Sacramento invites youth residents, ages 16 to 24, to the Neighborhood Services Division annual youth job fair on April 1 at City Hall. The job fair is part of the Neighborhood Services Division’s youth initiative, “Building Sacramento’s Youth for Success”. The initiative focuses on placing Sacramento youth in internships and employment opportunities in the public and private sectors in the City.

Who: Department of Parks and Recreation, Neighborhood Services Division

When: Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: City Hall Plaza

Details: More than 35 organizations will be present to provide information regarding employment, volunteer and training opportunities in various industries such as public and private agencies, trades, fast food, educational institutes and many more.
