Interested in saving water and a FREE rain barrel?

Are you interested in saving water and getting a FREE rain barrel? Reserve yours today before it’s too late! The first 50 City of Sacramento customers who sign up will receive a rain barrel at no cost. Any unclaimed barrels will be distributed to customers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wondering how a rain barrel can help save water? Rain barrels collect water from the roof and can be used for lawns, gardens, and indoor plants. Using the runoff helps reduce the flow of water from your property. This is a great way to conserve water and utilize resources for your own use! Also, each barrel has a garden hose sized spigot, which means you can choose how you want to use the water saved in the barrel.

Customers who can provide proof of residency  (valid driver’s license or utility bill) in the City of Sacramento, qualify to receive a rain barrel, and can reserve theirs by emailing waterconservation@cityofsacramento.org
