The Sacramento City Council is holding two special meetings today, Tuesday, April 10, at 1 p.m. and at 5 p.m. The 1 p.m. meeting is for City Council business matters. See Agenda. The 5 p.m. meeting is dedicated to questions raised about Sacramento police policies.
A large number of citizens is expected to attend the 5 p.m. City Council meeting.
Seating arrangements will begin at 4 p.m.
City staff will begin to seat attendees at 4 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Speaker slips will be distributed once attendees pass through security. Attendees will also be given comment cards.
Meeting will be streamed for the overflow attendees outside and within the lobby. Extra seating will be arranged outdoors.

Due to limited seating and the capacity within City Hall Council chambers, citizens are encouraged to post eComments to the meeting’s agenda. eComments are officially recorded into the agenda as a supplement to attending a meeting in person. eComments are limited to 1,000 characters. City Council meetings are broadcast live on Metrocable, Channel 14, AT&T Broadband Cable System and rebroadcast on the Saturday following the date of the meeting. Live video streams of meetings are available via the internet.
