The 43rd Annual Historic Home Tour, showcasing Sacramento’s Capitol Mansions Historic District, will take place on Sunday, September 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This historic district includes Colonial Revival, Queen Anne, Prairie Bungalow and Classic Four-Square styles of architecture.
Tickets are $30 if purchased in advance, and $35 on the day of the event.
On a self-guided, pedestrian tour, see intricate woodworking, built-in cabinets, light fixtures with gas lights on top and electric lights on the bottom, grand staircases, restored wood paneling, curved glass windows, high ceilings, classy renovated kitchens, and spacious front porches.
To receive a program and wristband needed for entry, stop by the PS ticket booth at the northwest corner of 22nd street and Capitol Avenue.
