With many of us spending more time at home these days, now is the perfect time to increase your water wisdom.
The City’s Department of Utilities will host a webinar at noon Sept. 23 to help educate residents on how they can save water around their homes.
The webinar, called “The Ins and Outs of Home Water Use,” will cover topics such as tracking your indoor and outdoor water use, learning helpful water saving tips and setting up leak alerts. It will feature several water conservation experts from the City.
“This webinar is a great chance for people to learn where they can use water more efficiently around the home and how to potentially save hundreds of gallons of water a day,” said William Granger, City water conservation coordinator. “We’re looking forward to having a robust discussion with participants as many of us work from home.”
People can register for the online webinar, which will last for approximately 45 minutes.
