BizX is back! Explore innovation and creativity in business at this City-hosted event

Entrepreneurs, small business owners and industry professionals are invited to join the City’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development and Sacramento County from 3 to 6 p.m. May 2 for an exploration into innovation and creativity.

This year’s event — “The Art of Innovation” — will examine what it means to be innovative in today’s world. The event will feature talks aimed at inspiring attendees to embrace their own creativity and push the boundaries of what’s possible, said the City’s Program Development Manager Lorrie Clark.

“The purpose of BizX is to bring together a community of thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and creative minds to explore what it means to be innovative in today’s world,” said Clark. “Innovation can help keep businesses moving forward by inventing new ideas or products and bridging any gaps between communities and businesses.”

The event is in person at The Urban Hive 1007 7th St. Those interested in attending can register for $10 here.

The event will feature a lineup of engaging speakers followed by a networking reception.

Discussion topics include: How to break the mold; the power of creativity; the future of innovation; and overcoming adversity and obstacles.

This is the eighth BizX event. Past topics include the future of technology, marketing on a budget, leading and attracting and retaining talent and more.
