VIDEO: Here’s how you can help Front Street Animal Shelter support more pets in need

Front Street Animal Shelter is seeking critical donations for its shelter and community programs.

The shelter takes in between 8,000 and 10,000 animals each year, many of them sick, injured, neglected, or abused.

While the shelter’s city-funded budget covers operational costs and other essentials, many programs are only possible thanks to generous donors.

“Specialty medical care, essential supplies, free vaccine and microchip clinics in underserved areas, assistance for pets of the homeless, spay and neuter for community cats, volunteer programs and programs that keep pets with their families are just a few of the ways that donors make a big impact on the shelter and community,” said Phillip Zimmerman, manager of Front Street.
