Here are the street closures for this week’s Farm-to-Fork Street Festival

The annual Farm-to-Fork Street Festival, hosted by Visit Sacramento, is set to take place this Friday (Sept. 22) and Saturday (Sept. 23) in downtown Sacramento.

The free two-day event on Capitol Mall features local food and drink vendors along with live music, food demonstrations, interactive booths and other attractions.

The event involves the road closure of Capitol Mall between Third and Eighth streets starting Wednesday morning (Sept. 20).

The following streets will be closed.

  • Capitol Mall from Third to Eighth streets beginning Wednesday at 6 a.m.
  • Fifth Street from N to L streets beginning Wednesday at 6 p.m.
  • Seventh Street from N to L streets beginning Friday at 6 p.m.

Residents and visitors planning to attend are encouraged to plan ahead, take alternative transportation and watch for street closures.

The Street Festival runs 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. All streets are set to reopen to vehicles by 1 a.m. Sunday.

Attendees can ride free on SacRT buses and light rail trains between 2 p.m. and end-of-service Friday and from 9 a.m. to end-of-service Saturday.

To access the free transportation, attendees must present a flyer. (Only one flyer needed per group.)

Free bike valet will be available Saturday. Attendees planning to drive and park can use the SacPark system to reserve spots in advance. Access to garages and parking lots will be maintained.
