Women’s Business Center to select winners for City-funded entrepreneur pitch competition at this Dec. 12 event

The California Capital Women’s Business Center on Dec. 12 will select winners for its “Small Business Showcase Pitch Competition,” in which Sacramento entrepreneurs and businesses will compete for cash prizes.

The program is funded in part through the City of Sacramento’s Innovation Grant program.

Three winners will be selected for cash prizes at the final round of the competition from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at 1442 on the Blvd (1442 Del Paso Boulevard). Attendance is free but RSVP is required.

“We are grateful for this partnership with the City of Sacramento, giving some fantastic entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their businesses at this event,” said Mike Schremmer, chief operations officer of California Capital FDC, the Women’s Business Center’s parent nonprofit.

Contestants in the Small Business Showcase have worked with a business counselor to write their business plans, financial projections and pitch presentations.
