April 13’s Front Street Brewfest celebrates and supports the City’s animal shelter

Front Street in Sacramento on Saturday, April 13, will be lined with dozens of the Sacramento region’s best breweries serving cold suds to animal-loving attendees.

Tickets are still available for Front Street Animal Shelter’s annual Brewfest, which supports the shelter’s animal welfare efforts.

“This is an opportunity to provide vital support to local animals in need while enjoying unlimited tastings of beer and wine,” said Front Street’s Communications Manager Ryan Hinderman.

The festivities also include live music, outdoor games, access to popular food trucks, free entry to the California Automobile Museum and more.

The proceeds of each ticket purchased will help save lives by providing specialty medical treatments, critical supplies, care for pets of unsheltered owners, medicine and treatments for pets in our hospice adoption program.

Proceeds will also go toward vital community programs such as Front Street’s free vaccine and microchip clinics, and support for other programs that help animals get their second chance at life.

Funds are raised by Animal Care’s non-profit Friends of Front Street, which raises funds throughout the year to ensure costly services are provided to pets and people in need. This includes their AdoptUs Hospice Care program for pets with medical conditions that need a monetary supported adoption to live out the rest of their life comfortably.

“We are excited to host the annual Brewfest and raise crucial funding for a variety of services we offer the community,” Hinderman said. “Events like these make it possible to continue to save lives.”

Adoptable pets will also be available to meet.
