Annual BizX event returns May 1 to Sacramento, inviting businesses and entrepreneurs to explore AI innovations

Entrepreneurs, small business owners and industry professionals are invited to join the City’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development and County’s Office of Economic Development from 3 to 6 p.m. May 1 to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various sectors.

This year’s event – “Leveraging AI Technologies to Stay Ahead of the Curve” – will delve into the implications of AI on business, healthcare, education, transportation, and beyond.

“In today’s rapidly advancing technological era, AI is at the forefront of shaping the future landscape of business,” said City Development Project Manager Lorrie Clark. “This event offers an opportunity for attendees to gain valuable insights into the transformative impact of AI and how it can drive innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity, ultimately shaping a more equitable and prosperous future for everyone.”

The event will feature a panel of AI and business experts who will delve into the ethical considerations and broader societal impacts of AI, while also highlighting the opportunities it presents.

Attendees will have the chance to explore small business resource booths, network with industry peers and enjoy light refreshments.

The event is in person at The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre (2700 Capitol Ave.). Interested individuals can register for the event for $10 on the City of Sacramento’s website.

The event is held in collaboration with Capital Region Small Business Week (CRSBW), further underscoring the commitment to supporting regional business development. For a comprehensive schedule of activities during CRSBW, please visit the official CRSBW website.
