The Sacramento Pride Festival is this weekend. Here are the road closures starting June 6

The annual Sacramento Pride event, hosted by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center, is set to draw crowds this weekend (June 8-9).

The two-day event kicks off with a festival on Capitol Mall that runs Saturday and Sunday. In addition, there is march through midtown scheduled for Sunday.

Festival Street Closures

Organizers will begin setting up fencing and equipment along Capitol Mall on Thursday (June 6) at noon.

The following streets will be closed through Monday (June 10) at 8 a.m. for the Pride Festival.

  • Capitol Mall from 3rd to 8th streets
  • 4th Street from L Street to N Street 
  • 5th Street from L Street to N Street 
  • 6th Street from L Street to N Street
  • 7th Street from L to N Street 

March Rolling Street Closures

The following streets will be closed for the Pride March on Sunday (June 9).

  • 8th  Street from W to T streets (8-11 a.m.)
  • T Street from 8th to 10th streets (11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
  • 10th Street from T Street to Capitol Mall (11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
  • Capitol Mall from 9th to 10th streets (11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)

Free Ride on Regional Transit

SacPride Fest attendees can ride free on SacRT buses and light rail trains between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Attendees must present a printed flyer or screenshot (only one flyer needed per group).
