Support Front Street at Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser July 2

Community members are invited to attend a Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser benefiting Front Street Animal Shelter on Thursday, July 2 in Sacramento’s Lavender Heights neighborhood.

The event will take place from 7–9 p.m. at Mango’s (1930 K St.).

Participants can play eight games of bingo for a $20 cash donation, with half of event proceeds supporting Front Street Animal Shelter and its programs.

The monthly fundraiser combines bingo, entertainment and prize giveaways while raising funds for local causes throughout the Sacramento region.

Food, drinks and live entertainment will be available throughout the evening.

“Community support helps make our work possible,” said Andrea Haverland, public information coordinator for Front Street. “This event is a fun way for people to come together while helping fund programs and services that benefit animals throughout our community.”

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as seating is limited and the event is expected to draw a large crowd. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event is open to all ages until 9 p.m.

The event will also feature raffle prizes, with all raffle ticket proceeds directly supporting the animal shelter.

Organizers are also seeking donations for raffle baskets and bingo prizes valued at $50 to $100.

Front Street Animal Shelter serves as the City’s municipal animal shelter and provides adoption, foster and animal care services for thousands of pets each year.
