The latest episode of Ride Along follows Officer Allison Smith and her partner as they respond to two calls that highlight the challenges officers face and the decisions they make in the field. The episode offers a behind-the-scenes look at the communication, problem-solving and partnerships involved in helping people during times of crisis.

“Every call is different, and our goal is to meet people where they are,” Officer Allison Smith said. “Whether we’re responding to someone experiencing a behavioral health crisis or helping connect someone with resources, taking the time to listen and build trust can make all the difference.”
