What happens when Sacramento police officers respond to calls involving behavioral health crises or homelessness?

The latest episode of Ride Along follows Officer Allison Smith and her partner as they respond to two calls that highlight the challenges officers face and the decisions they make in the field. The episode offers a behind-the-scenes look at the communication, problem-solving and partnerships involved in helping people during times of crisis.
