2016 City Management Academy Invites Applicants

Want an inside look at how the City of Sacramento is managed?

Join us for the 2016 City Management Academy (CMA) – a program offered by the City of Sacramento through the Neighborhood Services Division to educate and encourage partnerships between the City of Sacramento, its residents and business owners to help maintain, revitalize and promote healthy communities.

Through this interactive learning experience, CMA presenters and residents can learn from each other and share their mutual commitment to improve the quality of life in Sacramento.

The mission of the City Management Academy is to educate and encourage partnerships between the City of Sacramento, its residents, and business owners to help maintain, revitalize, and promote healthy communities. If this aligns with your personal objectives, be sure to submit an application.

The City Management Academy has been recognized by The Ford Foundation and John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as one of the Top 100 Innovative Ideas in the USA, and also received an Outstanding Innovations in Government Award from the American Society for Public Administration, Sacramento Chapter.

To be eligible for participation in the City Management Academy, applicants must be City residents or business owners. They should work in Sacramento or conduct work that benefits the community and are interested in enhancing the quality of life in Sacramento. Applicants must also be at least 16 years of age.
