Join the City of Sacramento’s Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) on a webinar at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, to learn about free, professional one-on-one financial coaching.
This financial coaching is designed to support local residents in building long-term financial health through reducing debt, building savings, improving credit, and/or connecting them with safe, affordable checking/saving accounts, officials said. Services are available in English and Spanish to all residents 18 and older.
“Our Financial Empowerment Center team has helped residents across Sacramento access resources and build financial health,” said Financial Empowerment Center Manager Amy Williamson. “FEC coaches help clients reach new milestones around credit, debt, savings and banking access, which supports their big life goals like weathering emergencies, buying a car at a good loan rate, attaining higher education for adults and/or kids, growing a small businesses, or eventually buying a home.”
Attendees will be able to meet the Financial Empowerment Center team, and hear from City Councilmember Mai Vang about how the Financial Empowerments Center supports the City’s overall goals for the community.
