BizX is back! Explore the latest in business technology at this City-hosted virtual event

Entrepreneurs, small business owners and industry professionals are invited to join the City’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 3 for an exploration into the latest technologies and how they are changing the ways businesses operate.

This year’s event — “Minding your business and the future of technology” — will examine how innovation can help businesses to run more efficiently, increase value, protect intellectual properties and boost productivity, said the City’s Program Development Manager Lorrie Clark.

“It has been two years since our last BizX event due to the pandemic, and we’re excited to have an opportunity to gather virtually with local experts and businesses to learn and connect over the event,” Clarke said. “This is an especially important topic, as we’ve seen technology come to the forefront of business operations over the past several years. Our event is designed to help businesses stay ahead of future trends and take their operations to the next level.”

Discussion topics include: artificial intelligence (AI), cyber security practices, information technology (IT) and influencer marketing. Speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Save your spot now and register for the free event on the City’s website.

This is the seventh BizX event. Past topics include marketing on a budget, leading and attracting and retaining talent, consumer engagement and more.

BizX is presented by the City of Sacramento’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development and the County of Sacramento, in partnership with Sacramento State’s Carlsen Center and the Business Environmental Resource Center.
