The City is asking the public for input on various strategies to revitalize the area around Marysville-Del Paso Boulevard in a newly drafted plan.
Public review of the Draft Marysville–Del Paso Boulevard Action Plan, is available online, and feedback is encouraged on the plan until Feb. 25.
To provide input, the public is asked to review and provide comments on the plan’s four categories: live, work, shop and experience.
Key parts of this neighborhood-led action plan aim to improve the quality of life for diverse populations in Marysville–Del Paso Boulevard commercial corridors and surrounding neighborhoods, officials said.
The plan focuses on meeting the specific needs of disadvantaged neighborhoods, including investment levels and timelines to help advance actions to meet these needs.
Upon release of the action plan this spring, the City will launch a $500,000 community grant program.
“The grant will invest in collaborative projects that advance the priorities listed in the action plan,” said Fatima Malik, associate planner with the City and lead for the plan. “Together, we will drive solutions that uplift and build upon the existing assets of Marysville –Del Paso Boulevards.”
Funding for this grant program is from Measure U funds and managed by the City’s Neighborhood Development Action Team.
