‘Pubs, Clubs, and Bars’ training offered for Sacramento hospitality and nightlife businesses

The City of Sacramento’s Office of Nighttime Economy will host a free “Pubs, Clubs, and Bars” training on Thursday, June 18, from 3-5 p.m. at 300 Richards Blvd., Room 221. The session will focus on fundamental practices to help hospitality and nightlife businesses operate more safely and successfully.

The session will feature representatives from the City and state agencies who will share information, resources and guidance with attendees and be available to answer questions.

Participating organizations include the Sacramento Police Department, Sacramento Fire Department, Code Compliance, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) and the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).

“Education and collaboration are important components of a safe and thriving nighttime economy,” said Nighttime Economy Manager Tina Lee-Vogt. “These trainings help connect business owners with the information, resources and agency partners they need to operate responsibly and serve the community.”

The Office of Nighttime Economy offers various training sessions to provide hospitality and nighttime businesses with information and resources to support safe and successful operations. More information about upcoming trainings is available on the City’s website.

Free onsite parking is available, and light refreshments will be provided.
